Flower-arranging, tea and delicious home made cakes could now be on the agenda for Kate who is said to be "interested" in joining Anmer W1 on the Sandringham Estate - just a stone's throw away from her Norfolk home.
President of Anmer WI Dorothy Pulsford-Harris, said she was delighted to receive a positive response to a letter she sent the Duchess before Christmas inviting her to join.
The 70-year-old retired barrister said: "I had a very nice letter back from her private secretary saying she was interested."
She told the Mail on Sunday: "We would be delighted to see her." The tiny branch has just 14 members, who meet once a month in the community hall less than 10 minutes away from the royal couple's Georgian mansion. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
