William and Kate began Easter Sunday in traditional style by attending morning service at St Andrew’s Cathedral in Sydney.

When the couple arrived at the church, they were met by The Most Reverend Dr. Glenn Davies, Archbishop of Sydney, and The Very Reverend Phillip Jensen Dean of Sydney.

Following the 10:30am service, the Duke and Duchess signed the First Fleet Bible, a historical King James Bible that first brought over to Australia on the First Fleet in 1788. It was also used in the first Christian service held in that same year. They added their names to the Book of Common Prayer too and was signed by generations of royals before them.

The Queen signed it in 1954. William’s parents, added their names in 1983, the Duke and Duchess of York in 1988 and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1958.

Afterwards the couple chatted to members of the choir and the Cathedral's Sunday School students.

Kate chose a bespoke dove grey Alexander McQueen tailored coat over a matching dress for the occasion. The coat features a funnel neck, structured shoulders and cropped sleeves. There is also a concealed front fastener which add an extra touch.
