Kate Middleton dazzled in a tiara loaned to her by the Queen as she stepped out for a black tie event on Tuesday night.

Kensington Palace confirmed that the glittering headpiece had belonged to Princess Margaret, who wore it to the same event – the Diplomatic Reception – 55 years ago in 1958.
