Duchess Kate to Join Women's Institute - a Royal Tradition

Caption: The Duchess of Cambridge AS Kate settles in to country life at Anmer Hall with her family, it could be 'Jam and Jerusalem' fun for the Duchess of Cambridge who has expressed interest in joining the local Women's Institute. 

Flower-arranging, tea and delicious home made cakes could now be on the agenda for Kate who is said to be "interested" in joining Anmer W1 on the Sandringham Estate - just a stone's throw away from her Norfolk home.

President  of Anmer WI Dorothy Pulsford-Harris, said she was delighted to receive a positive response to a letter she sent the Duchess before Christmas inviting her to join.

The 70-year-old retired barrister said: "I had a very nice letter back from her private secretary saying she was interested."

Stuart WeitzmanShe told the Mail on Sunday: "We would be delighted to see her." The tiny branch has just 14 members, who meet once a month in the community hall less than 10 minutes away from the royal couple's Georgian mansion. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
