The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh Dine with David Cameron in Historic Chequers Visit

THE Queen and Prince Philip joined David Cameron and his wife Samantha today for a historic visit to the Prime Minister's Chequers country house.

Her Majesty's third visit to the Chilterns house was organised by Mr Cameron, who visits Buckingham Palace weekly, so he could "host her for a change".



Guests were served a menu of Scottish smoked salmon, followed by lamb for a main and bread and butter pudding with ice cream for dessert.

The first time the Queen visited the Prime Minister's official country residence was in 1970 when she dined with Edward Health and Richard Nixon.Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
