The "Kate Effect" is Making a Royal Mint

GLAMOROUS royals William, Kate and Harry now have their own companies to protect their image rights and “brand”, it emerged last week.

Although aides insisted the firms will lie “dormant” for the time being, the move underlines the vast commercial potential of the trio.

It is too early to compare the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to the Beckhams but if William and Kate want to trademark anything in the future, they now have the means to do so. They can also prevent unscrupulous traders cashing in with dodgy goods.

The firms were set up in 2012, William’s is called APL Anglesey, Kate’s CE Strathearn and Harry’s Tsessebe. But in terms of commerciality, it is the Duchess of Cambridge who leads the way. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
